WHAT’S COVERED/NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
Accidents and malfunctions can happen at any time. That’s why it is so important that users have an understanding of what can and cannot fall under our warranty policy.
If there is malfunction with the engine, alternator or any other major component of the generator and this is caused by the manufacturer, we will repair and replace the faulty part (subject to our warranty policy) at our own cost.
However, damage to any part of the product or malfunction caused by normal wear and tear, inclement weather, damage arising from the elements, improper operation, care and maintenance (e.g. using the wrong fuel, lubricant etc. in the product) and other such issues will not be covered under warranty.
If you suspect your product has a malfunction, it is best to contact your local PowerLink distributor. They will work with you to determine if the issue is covered under warrantty.
Full details of PowerLink’s warranty conditions are located in the Warranty Booklet, provided with each PowerLink product.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU EXPERIENCE AN ISSUE
If an issue falls under warranty, your local distributor should provide a PowerLink Warranty Claim Form for you to complete.
It is important to include as much detail as possible on the Warranty Claim Form such as:
Product model and serial number (located on the PowerLink name plate) and photos of the PowerLink name plate
Number of operating hours and photo of the control panel
Detailed fault description with photos
