Load Banks
A load bank is an essential piece of machinery if you need to simulate an electrical load. A dummy load bank is a piece of test equipment that tests a power source. They can be connected to power sources, like electrical power generators, at the output in order to test and calibrate the voltage. It then takes in the current from the generator and attributes it seemingly the same way the average load would, to gauge a proper approximation of efficiency. When power should be consumed, a load bank will take it over, usually in the form of heat. A load bank will show you if your generator is up to the task of powering the load that you need it to.
